The Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) has paid glowing tribute to its Secretary, Mr. Adekale Babatunde, describing him as an accomplished media professional whose innovation, leadership and unwavering commitment to public service have continued to leave a lasting impact on the digital media industry.
In a congratulatory message released on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, and signed by the Association’s Chairman, Comrade Abioye Tosin Lawrence, OOPA commended Babatunde for his dedication to the growth of the association and his consistent pursuit of excellence in the media profession.
The Association said Babatunde has earned a reputation as a solution-oriented professional, noting that his expertise in the digital space and commitment to addressing challenges within the evolving digital economy have distinguished him among his peers.
According to the statement, he has continued to discharge his responsibilities as the Association’s Secretary with diligence, integrity and professionalism while contributing meaningfully to initiatives that promote digital innovation and strengthen the practice of online journalism.
OOPA also praised his humility, calm disposition and cordial relationship with colleagues, saying these qualities have earned him widespread admiration within and outside the media community.
“We celebrate your years of professional excellence and commend the sterling reputation you have painstakingly built over the years. Your commitment to public service, leadership capacity and admirable character remain worthy of emulation,” the statement read.
The Association further acknowledged Babatunde’s invaluable contributions to its progress, describing his service as instrumental to the advancement of professionalism, unity and ethical standards among online publishers in Osun State.
On behalf of all members, Comrade Lawrence expressed appreciation for Babatunde’s unwavering commitment and prayed for greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
