An Osun born ecotoxicologist and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Majeed Adetola Fasasi, popularly known as Soludero, has commended the establishment of Radio Oroki, describing the station as a unique platform that represents the identity, culture and aspirations of Osogbo globally.
Soludero made the remarks during a visit to the studio of the online radio station in Osogbo, where he praised the management of Radio Oroki for creating a professional platform whose name and identity are deeply connected to Osogbo and its heritage.
He particularly commended the Chief Executive Officer of Radio Oroki, Mukhtar Ajelogbon, for his consistency and resilience in the media industry, recalling the early days of Ajelogbon’s career and his determination to pursue his dreams since his undergraduate days despite the challenges he encountered.
According to him, Ajelogbon’s journey is a testament to the importance of perseverance and commitment, noting that he never abandoned his dream of contributing meaningfully to the media and broadcasting industry.
During a one-on-one interview with Radio Oroki, Soludero also called on residents of Osun State to support the governorship ambition of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji AMBO in the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
He appealed to the people of the state to vote for Oyebamiji, whom he described as an experienced politician with the knowledge and skills required to move Osun State forward and make it greater.
Soludero urged voters against the maladministration of the Ademola Adeleke’s government, and consider APC-Oyebamiji’s experience and capacity as they make their choice in the forthcoming August 15th guber election.
Also accompanying Soludero on the visit was Prince Oyelami Oyewale Ajibola, who equally praised Ajelogbon and the establishment of Radio Oroki.
Prince Ajibola described the station as a platform Osogbo had long needed, saying the city had lacked a media outlet that truly reflects its identity and represents the people as a whole.
He expressed appreciation to Ajelogbon for taking the bold step to establish Radio Oroki, while praying for the station’s success and growth in all ramifications.
