Stakeholders hails Anyanwu’s commitment to nation-building as he join LP in Abia

Political stakeholders from Abia State have lauded the unwavering commitment of Chief Nduka Anyanwu to the development, progress, and unity of Abia State and Nigeria.

Chief Nduka Anyanwu was the immediate-past Board council of the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) and ersewhile member of the national executive committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the country.

He was equally member of APC Presidential Campaign Council for Tinubu/Shettima 2023 and former deputy national publicity secretary of the defunct All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP).

On June 18th, Chief Nduka Anyanwu with creams of supporters dumped APC for the ruling labour party(LP) in Abia State.

However, the Abia stakeholders on Friday, poured encomium on the frontline party chieftain for his passion for good governance.

Speaking during a recent political function in umuahia, the Abia State chairman of the labour party, Dr Peter Azubuike hailed the sterling leadership qualities of High Chief Nduka Anyanwu.

Azubuike noted Chief Anyanwu’s pedigree, experience, and commitment to good governance, maintaining that Chief Anyanwu is a political force to reckon with, having demonstrated capacities in various national and state assignments.

The Abia chairman maintained that LP-led government in Abia state need genuine contributions and support of the distinguished Abians to the New Abia project of Governor Alex Otti’s administration.

Engr. Zik Ihechi Chinedu, a stalwart of the labour party from umuahia north local government area of Abia State, while speaking with our correspondent in umuahia, the state capital, said Chief Nduka Anyanwu’s commitment to nation-building cannot be overemphasized, and lauded the latter’s immense contributions and active role towards deepening current democracy in Nigeria.

He also lauded Chief Anyanwu’s decision in joining labour party and aligning with the visions of Governor Alex Chioma Otti-led administration in Abia state.

Zik described Chief Anyanwu as an authentic statesman and core political leader, assuring that the latter’s movement to another political party will solidify labour party’s hold in ikwuano/umuahia federal constituency in Abia state.

On his part, the State Publicity Secretary of the labour party, Comrade Emenike Iroegbu lauded High Chief Nduka Anyanwu’s political acumen and sagacity, commending the prominent Abia chieftain for prioritizing the development of Abia State above partisan interest.

He further lauded Anyanwu’s latest political alignments with labour party and Governor Alex Otti’s administration in Abia state, describing it as a good step in a right direction.

Another prominent stakeholder from the state, Mazi Udochukwu Ejikeme described High Chief Nduka Anyanwu as a perfect democrat and political force to reckon with, having displayed leadership ability and capacity as then national officer of the largest political party in Africa and member of APC 2023 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

He noted that Chief Anyanwu has remained committed and resolute in the collective efforts of lovers of democracy and well-meaning Nigerians to enthronement of purposeful and people’s -oriented leaderships at all levels in the country.

Ejikeme also noted that Chief Nduka Anyanwu’s recent entry into the to the labour party is a begining of another chapter of progress in Abia state.

According to the party stalwart, “In Chief Nduka Anyanwu, we see a true leader, great grassroots mobilizer who has distinguished himself and curved an niche in political party administration.

“There’s no doubts that his new party membership will further strengthened the resolve by the LP leadership and teeming members to retain power in ikwuano/umuahia constituency and Abia as a whole come next year.
