As part of the continued effort of a life-touching initiative, the residents of Olorunda local government area of Osun Osun State have benefited from the G.O Sanusi Foundation’s free medical outreach in Osogbo Osun state capital.
The outreach, which was held on Monday 16th February 2026 at L.A Adenle Park, Ayetoro Osogbo touches lives and restores hope at the grassroot as hundreds of people including aged and adults trooped out to benefit from the free medical consultations, comprehensive health checks, distribution of prescribed medications, and free eyeglasses.
While speaking, the founder of G.O Sanusi Foundation, Dr Samuel Oluwasesan Sanusi acknowledged the significance in this year’s edition of the outreach to support the Osun APC gubernatorial candidate in the forthcoming governorship election, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
According to him “This is not just another edition but a special one to support our party’s gubernatorial candidate in the August 15th election, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) by reinforcing a shared vision of the people-centered governance and grassroots development.
“It is a reflection of commitment and demonstration of support for progressive leadership to reform Osun.”
Dr Sanusi also declared his intention to join the House of Assembly race for Olorunda State Constituency come 2027 if given the privilege by the party. He appreciates the medical team, volunteers, supporters, and community members for the huge success recorded.
In their separate remarks, Olorunda Local Government Chairman, Hon. Mojeed Kunle Kudayisi; the LG APC Party Chairman, Imam Ayatullah Kabir and the former Special Adviser to former governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Rasaki Adeosun expressed gratitude to the philanthropist gestures of G.O Sanusi Foundation in taken care of the health and well-being of the people, urging party members to take APC-AMBO project a winning task.
OsunReporters News gathered that the initiative which started years back has been beneficial to thousands of people in terms of free micro-credit business loan and health care facilities as part of the mechanisms to give back to society.
The outreach witnessed the presence of political stakeholders, Council administration, health practitioners, groups amongst others.
