BREAKING: Ademola Adeleke Officially Dumps PDP, May Join Accord Party

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), according to a letter issued by from the office of the Governor in the state Dated back November 4, 2025.

The Osun State PDP Chairman, Sunday Bisi, disclosed this during a press conference held yesterday, confirming that Governor Adeleke is no longer interested in contesting for the PDP governorship ticket.

Bisi further revealed that the governor’s decision was due to leadership problem rocking the party which seems not to be ending anytime soon and could hinder Adeleke’s reelection chance if not attended to on Time.

According to information now circulating in the public domain, Adeleke’s political structure and loyalists are allegedly making moves towards joining the Accord Party, a development that could significantly alter the political equation ahead of the next election cycle.

The exit of the sitting governor from the PDP is a long overdue news that doesn’t come with Shock any longer in Osun State.

As of the time of filing this report, Governor Adeleke is yet to personally address the public on the matter or officially confirm his reported move to another political party.
