The former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Her Excellency, Otunba Titi Tomori-Ponnle, has celebrated the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, on the occasion of his 71st birthday.
In a congratulatory statement issued in Osogbo on Monday, Tomori-Ponnle described Oyetola, a former governor of Osun State, as a leader who has combined age with purposeful service to Nigeria. She lauded his outstanding performance as the pioneer Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, noting that his contributions align with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda aimed at advancing national development.
The Osogbo-born grassroots politician extolled Oyetola’s qualities as a compassionate, selfless, and focused leader, as well as a seasoned manager of people and resources. She emphasized that his remarkable impact as a minister is consistent with his achievements as governor of Osun, where he managed the state’s economy prudently to the benefit of the people.
Her statement partly reads: “I felicitate with our Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, on his 71st birthday. Beyond attaining another milestone in age, he has successfully elevated the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy as its pioneer minister.”
Tomori-Ponnle also commended Oyetola for his efforts in consolidating the strength of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, stressing that his leadership will play a vital role in the party’s determination to reclaim the state in the 2026 elections.
Widely known as the “Golden Daughter of Osogbo,” Tomori-Ponnle prayed for Oyetola’s continued good health, long life, and fulfillment of his aspirations, wishing him many more fruitful years ahead.
