The Endowment Fund is a visionary initiative designed to create a sustainable financial base for the continued growth and development of our beloved institution. A special committee comprising representatives from the institution’s management, the State Ministry of Education, the Alumni Association, and the student union will oversee the fund’s management to ensure transparency and accountability.
Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has made tremendous progress Over the years with growth comes the need for enhanced infrastructure, better facilities, and improved student services. The Endowment Fund aims to address these needs by supporting infrastructure upgrades, fostering research and innovation, and improving the overall student experience.
Concerns have been triggered regarding the fund’s implementation among graduating students. OSPAA wishes to reassure all stakeholders that the initiative is not intended to impose any financial hardship on students or their parents. The inclusion of student representatives in the oversight committee demonstrates the commitment to openness and fairness.
Following discussions and feedback from students and other stakeholders, the management has decided to temporarily suspend the implementation of the Endowment Fund. OSPAA commends this decision as a mark of responsive and inclusive leadership.
